Our Services
Pregnancy Scanning
Confirm conception, monitor fetal heartbeats, and check litter viability with a portable ultrasound device.
When to scan: Scans are safest and most accurate when conducted by a professional technician between 25 and 35 days post-mating.
Litter Estimates: While we can usually give an estimate of how many dogs the bitch is carrying, please note this may not be fully accurate depending on where they are sat in mum's belly.
Microchipping
A quick, permanent, and painless identification procedure where a tiny chip the size of a grain of rice is implanted under the dog's skin. A professional uses a needle to insert the microchip into the loose skin between the shoulder blades. The implantation takes only a few seconds, with no recovery time or pain relief required.
The Law & Fines: In the UK, it is a legal requirement to have dogs microchipped by 8 weeks of age, and breeders must chip them before they leave for their new homes. You can be fined up to £500 if a dog is not microchipped or if contact details are out-of-date.
Databases: The chip holds a unique 15-digit code linked to your details on a government-compliant database (such as Petlog or PETtrac). You must update this provider if you move or change phone numbers.
Studding Services
We have quality studs available who have undergone rigorous health and genetic testing (including hip, elbow, eye, and DNA screening) to prevent passing on hereditary diseases.
Mating Options: While natural mating can occur, we sometimes utilise advanced artificial insemination (AI) techniques to support a safe, stress-free, and successful tie.
